HBIGS proudly announces the implementation of the newly established HBIGS PhD Awards. Three prizes, amounting to EUR 30,000 in total, are awarded for scientific excellence and commitment of outstanding doctoral candidates and principal investigators of HBIGS. Whereas the PhD student prizes are at the personal disposal of the award recipients, the prizes for the host labs are designated to improve lab infrastructure, to aid realization of research projects, and to foster international cooperation. The HBIGS PhD Awards are awarded annually, commencing in 2027.
